Tomma Guastaferro

Celebrating 20 years | Office of Wellbeing

Tomma Guastaferro, lovingly known as Tomma G to those she works closely with, has been and is the administrative backbone of the Professional Development Center, THRIVE, and the Office of Wellbeing.

The infrastructure, collaborations, mentoring, and stability she has generated for our university can’t be overstated. She has influenced the lives of thousands of faculty, staff and students. At work and in relationships, she is hilarious, empathetic, intentional, supportive, and a true rockstar.

Regina Lawson

Celebrating 35 years | Univerisity Police

Chief Regina Lawson has been an integral part of Wake Forest University’s law enforcement community since 1989, when she began as an Assistant Chief of Police and was promoted to Chief of Police in 1992. Under her guidance, the WFU Police Department achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first agency to complete the IACLEA Accreditation successfully. Chief Lawson currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Safety and Security alongside her role as Chief of Police. Her unwavering commitment to campus safety and community policing continues to impact the WFU community positively.
