The Division of Campus Life consists of a broad range of offices focused on supporting and developing the Wake Forest student experience. In the spirit of Pro Humanitate, we cultivate a transformative campus experience through curiosity, care, and connection. In doing so, we foster an inclusive learning community where all matter, belong, and thrive.
Keep up with the latest events happening around campus and build up your Link Loop points while you’re at it!
Stay up-to-date with all things #WFU by reading WFU Should Know— a weekly e-newsletter sent out to all Wake Forest students every Thursday. It includes news, information about events happening on and around campus, important dates and deadlines, and more!
Sometimes, you need a pick-me-up; sometimes, you need a friend. But wewill always need each other. Your mental health matters. Take the first (or another) step.
Whether you’re stopping into her office hours or Gold & Black Chats, grabbing a sweet treat on #MilkshakeMonday or #WakeUpWednesday, or snapping a selfie with our favorite VP, keep up with all things Dr. Shea via Instagram and be sure to catch up on the latest episode of Kidd You Not!

Students got the chance to gather with @deacsdecidewfu for another night of civic engagement (and, of course, the opportunity to vote) at the Vice Presidential Debate Watch Party. This event is just one of the many ways students can learn and participate in the election engagement process, and luckily, it doesn’t stop there. Be sure to check out TurboVote linked in our bio, to learn more about the election and how you can be #VoteReady!

Show Humanitate takes Pro Humanitate to heart. A transformative initiative that embodies our cherished motto, it is a call to action for each of us to live our lives with a commitment to each other and the shared values we hold. Show Humanitate is not a noun but a verb, and its application is as endless as our world’s need for compassion, understanding, perspective, and respect. In the community we build for and with each other, we are reminded of all the ways in which each of us can #ShowHumanitate.
Visit showhumanitate.wfu.edu to learn more ways you can get involved with small acts that offer big impact.

This is Brian Piccolo. His story is a special one that, if you don’t know, as a Wake Forester, you soon will. A @wakefootball alum, Brian’s journey with cancer would end his professional football career and later his life. But like so many Wake Foresters, Brian’s life was an embodiment of Pro Humanitate, a motto that he took to heart. His life would open a new Wake Forest chapter that all of us could be a part of—the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund.
The oldest and largest student-run philanthropic drive on campus, the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund provides the #WFU community with major fundraisers to raise awareness and money for cancer research, including Pump Up for Piccolo, Wake ‘N’Shake, and Hit the Bricks. This Thursday, we’ll Hit the Bricks on Hearn Plaza, taking turns running and walking laps around the Quad to show our solidarity in the fight against cancer.
A longstanding tradition, participants, volunteers, and spectators enjoy fun activities, live music, and special guest speakers for the all-day event. The day will conclude with a ceremonial remembrance lap before participants gather in front of Wait Chapel for a moment of silence to honor all those who have lost their lives to or are fighting the battle against cancer.
Brian’s story reminds all of us to live out #ProHumanitate. On Thursday and every day, we will. Follow @wfuhitthebricks to learn more!
