Hi Deacs,

We know you’re deep into papers, projects, and exam prep, and we wanted to take a quick moment to share some excitement — and give you a little something to look forward to once finals are behind you.

By now you’ve probably seen the news, and it’s worth celebrating again: after a historic regular season under first-year head coach Jake Dickert, Wake Forest is headed to the Duke’s Mayo Bowl on Friday, Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. in Charlotte. This team has played with heart all season, and they’ve earned the chance to compete for a ninth win for just the fourth time in school history. We’d love for you to be there to see it happen!

This postseason opportunity is the result of a resilient, tough group of student-athletes who put everything on the line for Mother So Dear — and it was your energy that fueled so many of the season’s most unforgettable moments. From the electric Homecoming win over SMU to the sellout crowd and statement victory against North Carolina, our team fed off the passion, noise, and belief that only our students bring to Allegacy Stadium.

And that’s what this bowl game is really about. It’s a chance to take that same culture, pride, and unrivaled student energy to Wake Forest’s second home. Nothing lifts our team more than seeing you in the stands representing Wake Forest — and nothing sends a stronger message, or reflects the strength of our community, more than Screamin’ Demons showing up in full force when it matters most.

Once you have finals behind you and have enjoyed a few weeks of Winter Break, we would love to have you with us in Charlotte. Thanks to the generosity of Deacon Club members, student tickets are available for a subsidized price of only $30 using a special promo code (check your email) just for you! You’ll be surrounded by fellow Deacs as we cheer on our team. You can also purchase guest tickets for your close friends or immediate family for just $60 each. We’re also excited to host a pregame student tailgate at Clutch Kitchen & Pour House, just around the corner from Bank of America Stadium. Registration details to follow.

This bowl game is a special moment for our program, and it wouldn’t feel the same without your spirit and energy.

Hang in there as you wrap up the semester. We’re cheering for you now, and we hope to be cheering with you in Charlotte soon.

Go Deacs!
