A Letter from our VP
Dear Wake Forest community,
Hey, I’m Dr. Shea! Welcome to the Division of Campus Life! Whether you are a current student, staff or faculty member, family member, alum, or part of the broader community, I am thrilled you are here.
As the vice president for Campus Life, it is my privilege to lead a division that is dedicated to delivering a transformative student experience. Our purpose is expansive and deeply impactful. From the moment you arrive on campus to the day you graduate, Campus Life is here to foster students’ holistic development—academically, socially, emotionally and personally.
The division offers a dynamic residential experience that engages students, builds on their strengths, feeds and fuels their wellbeing, and fosters involvement in student organizations, empowering them to lead for and with humanity. At Wake Forest, the campus is a classroom, and we are here to ensure students have the resources, support and opportunities to live and learn in the questions, explore their passions, build meaningful connections, navigate challenges and discover their full potential.
With hard work and heart work, I am committed to leading with our staff and students, to continually evolve our offerings, ensuring they reflect the needs of our community. Thank you for visiting. I encourage you to explore all that Campus Life has to offer, engage with our teams and make the most of your time here.
Our students are the heart of the Wake Forest experience, and it is our honor to play a role in creating an inclusive learning community where all matter, belong and thrive.
With gratitude,

Shea Kidd Brown, Ph.D.
Vice President for Campus Life
