CL Systems
Campus Life Systems facilitates integrations between divisional systems and Workday through partnership coordination with Information Systems. We also provide project management support, new software implementation, proposal assistance, and improvement support for the division as needed.

Guidelines for Contracts
Contract Management & Execution Guidelines
The purpose of the Contract & Spend Authority Policy and Procedure is to establish requirements for authorizing University expenditures, as well as the review, execution, and oversight of agreements that create legally binding obligations on the University.
To ensure compliance and timely processing for Campus Life contracts, please follow the updated procedures below:
1. Initial Review
Before seeking a signature, you must follow the Wake Forest Contract and Spend Authority Procedures. By submitting a contract, you are asserting that you and your Director or AVP have conducted a full review of the terms and conditions and have followed the established administrative procedures.
2. Determining Signature Authority
The process for execution depends on the total value and specific requirements of the contract:
| Contract Value | Signature Authority | Required Action |
| Under $10,000 | Director or Assistant Vice President | May be signed and executed directly by the Director or AVP (provided it meets exemption criteria). |
| Over $10,000 | Vice President or Associate Vice Presidents | Must be submitted via the Campus Life Contract Intake Form. |
Note: Contracts over $10,000—or those that do not meet the exemption criteria—can only be executed by the Vice President for Campus Life, the AVP for Campus Life Finance & Administration, or the AVP and Dean of Students.
3. Submission & Deadlines
If your contract is over $10,000 or does not meet the exemption criteria, your contract must be submitted for signature on the Campus Life Contract Intake Form.
- Lead Time: Submit the contract at least one week in advance of your deadline.
- Documentation: Ensure the full contract is attached to your submission.
- Form: Use the Campus Life Contract Intake Form to obtain a signature from the appropriate Campus Life signature authority.
- Submission to the Contracts Office following signature is the responsibility of the department submitting the contract.
