The biennial President’s Ball will be held on Friday, April 12. Come enjoy live music, drinks and hors d’oeuvres with your fellow Deacs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at LJVM Coliseum.

Details
- Tickets are required and free. Students are permitted one ticket. The deadline to reserve a ticket is Friday, April 12, 2024, at 11 p.m.
- Visit the WFU Box Office and log in with your WFU credentials to register for your ticket. All undergraduate and graduate students should select “WFU Student.” Students in the law school should select “WFU Law Student.”
- The event is for current Wake Forest University faculty/staff, undergraduate and graduate students only. Non-Wake Forest students are not permitted to attend.
- To enter, you must present your ticket, along with a current, valid WFU ID.
- No re-entry into the event is allowed.
- Buses to and from the Ball will run from Parking Lot P (near Wait Chapel and Huffman Hall). Buses will begin running at 8:45 p.m. and will run until 1:30 a.m.
- Students driving their own vehicles or taking Uber should enter the LJVM parking lot via the Deacon Boulevard entrances.
- Uber drop-off is at the West Monuments side of the Coliseum.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are free.
In order to purchase alcoholic beverages, one of the following forms of identification is additionally required.
- A current driver’s license
- A current passport or passport card
- A current North Carolina state identification card
- A current military ID
- An attendee wishing to purchase alcohol will be restricted to one wristband for the event with three tabs for alcohol. Wristbands will be distributed at the venue once proof of legal age has been established. Drink tabs must be given to a bartender in order to purchase alcohol. The bartender has the right to re-establish proof of legal age again at point of service.
- There is no attire requirement, but it is a ball! Business casual or cocktail party attire is recommended.
- Per the LJVM Coliseum Bag Policy, small clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags or small clutch bags are allowed.
- Any personal belongings brought to the event are the responsibility of the attendee. This includes coats and jackets.
